Bus from Trpanj to Orebic

Buses used to run daily from Orebic to Trpanj, several times a day depending on ferry schedules to and from Trpanj and Ploce.

During the off-season months, buses were less frequent, while in season, June to September, when ferry schedules are more frequent, buses run to match the same frequency as ferries.

Basically, what you have to keep in mind is that each ferry that arrives or departs from Ploce or Trpanj is met by a bus from/to Orebic. (Update: Unfortunately, this is not the case anymore since the opening of the Peljesac Bridge, this ferry line is not as popular as it used to be)

The bus journey lasts for about 40 minutes and leads partly through an inland bit of the Peninsula and then downhill along the coast to Orebic,  offering some nice views over Peljesac Channel and Archipelago. This is a really nice bus ride, especially in autumn when all the vineyards are in yellow/reddish colours. On its way bus will stop at any point along the route if there is a passenger waiting. So, if you are staying in Dingac, Postup, or a similar place, you will be able to catch this bus. Have a look at the schedule below:
