Perna Beach – Orebic
Perna Beach is one of the most popular beaches around Orebic. It is a nice pebble/shingle stretch of coastline surrounded by mature pine trees (see below photo) that are overshadowing large part of the surroundings and offering welcoming shade in warm summer afternoons.
The area is easily reached by foot that includes a pleasant 20 min walk from the Orebic’s town centre along the seashore to Perna. Once there, you will find a couple of beach cafes that are located in among the pine trees very near the seashore offering cold drinks and ice creams.
In the near vicinity of the beach is a popular camping site. Being so popular the beach tends to get busy in the summer months, however, from my experience, whenever I visited there was always plenty of space to enjoy this fantastic stretch of shingle right across the Korcula Town.
